Payment Options

Please Note: Bills are due by the 18^th of every month.

If your service has been disconnected, you may not utilize the payment options. Cashier's check or Money Order will be required to reconnect service.

1) Office Payment

Our office is opened Monday - Friday from 8 am to 2 pm.
Only check, Money Order, or Cashier's check are accepted as payment.
Payment may be mailed in or dropped off during or after business hours to:

2) On-line Payment

You may use your existing at-home internet bill payment service (offered by your bank) to make an electronic payment.
Reduces the time between payment and the payment posting to the District by changing the delivery from a paper environment to an electronic environment, if your banking institution utilizes CheckFree. If your bank does not utilize CheckFree as their online vendor, you may still make a payment online but the posting time may vary depending on your bank.
The Customer is not charged any fees by the District for this payment option (There may be fees from your bank).

3) Direct Payment Plan

You may allow automatic withdrawals from your bank account each month to pay your water bill.
Please contact our office at 281 392-8112 to request the appropriate application forms.
A fee $1.00/month may be charged, if applicable.

4) Internet Credit Card Payments

Allows a customer to make Discover/MasterCard payments on the Internet.
Customer pays a usage fee of 5% per transaction.
The Website is www.paymyutilitybill.com. Payment will post to your account at the close of the next business day.
Customer must call with confirmation number of the online payment.

5) Check by Phone

Customer pays $3.95 per transaction to the service provider.
Please call 713 881-0675 to use this option. Payments will post to your account at the close of the next business day.
Customer must call with confirmation number of the phone payment.

6) Grocery Store Payments

You are able to pay your water bill at any major grocery store in the Greater Houston and surrounding area. There will be a $1.00 fee per transaction to the service provider.

Please note that fees charged by a service provider are for the administrative costs of providing the services. Harris County Municipal Utility District #81 does not receive any portion of the service fees.
